The United Mexican States, referred to as Mexico, has a territorial area of 1.9644 million square kilometers, making it the third largest country in Latin America. It is located in the southern part of North America and the northwestern tip of Latin America. Mexico City is not only the capital of Mexico, but also the largest city in the country.
Mexico is a major economic power in Latin America. According to statistics, its gross domestic product (GDP) in 2022 reached 1.4 trillion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%, with a per capita GDP of 11,000 US dollars. At the same time, Mexico suffers from severe wealth polarization, with the poor population accounting for 43% of the total population. In 2020, the national birth rate was 17‰ and the death rate was 6.2‰.

Mexico's main medical security system consists of three parts: the medical system of the Ministry of Health (SSA), the social security system and the private medical system. In Mexico's major cities, especially in large cities such as the capital Mexico City and Monterrey, public and private hospitals are spread all over the city, with an overall high medical level, and some doctors can communicate simply in English. Many medical institutions in Mexico are top-tier.
