RHD ICU Negative Pressure Ambulances Project of Namibia successfully delivery

At the beginning of the New Year, the RHD ICU Negative Pressure Ambulances Project of Namibia, which was refitted by Landcom with RHD and diesel vehicle, was successfully delivered at 15:30 on January 15th, 2020.

The biggest difference between the negative pressure ambulance and the ordinary is “Negative Pressure Isolation”. The internal air pressure of patient cabin is lower than the external atmospheric pressure so the air flow can only flow from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side inside the medical cabin, which can achieve reducing the pollution to the external environment. After harmless treatment, the air inside the medical cabin will be discharged. In the treatment and transfer of special disease patients, such as infectious disease patients, the chance of cross-infection among medical staff will be reduced to the maximum, and the infectious source will be well controlled. The ambulance is also equipped with a ventilator, defibrillator monitor, ECG monitor and other full set of emergency equipment, installed ultraviolet disinfection lamp, central oxygen interface.

The Negative Pressure Ambulance of Landcom is also equipped with high quality negative pressure isolation chamber which is mainly suitable for isolation and transportation of suspected or confirmed respiratory infectious patients under toxic gas environment (such as poisonous gas bomb pollution). It’s also equipped with negative pressure isolation chamber on the basis of the negative pressure device so as to achieve the safety standard of "Double Negative Pressure" for ambulance and ensure double safety guarantee of the health-care workers in the ambulance.
